Dr Samantha Leaity

I am a chartered Clinical Psychologist and an accredited Advanced-level Schema Therapist, Supervisor-Trainer with over 20 years of combined research and clinical experience. My expertise lies in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies to adults with a wide range of emotional and physical health issues.

Alongside my NHS posts, I set up a private psychology practice for adults in 2010 in which I now work full-time. I chose to specialise in Schema Therapy and other advanced forms of CBT including mindfulness & compassion-focused therapies as I have found these to be the most effective approaches to achieve meaningful and lasting change. In addition to therapy I offer specialist supervision, consultation and training to psychologists and allied health professionals and workshops to schools, businesses and the general public. I am a visiting lecturer and clinical consultant for the doctoral clinical psychology course at Royal Holloway, University of London.
